An Initiative in alignment with Nigeria's Food Security Aspiration
Food Security remains central to developmental issues across the global landscape. This is reflected in the Goal 2 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which addresses zero hunger. It entails the emplacements of implementation measures to ensure that everyone has access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food towards ending poverty, promoting health and fostering sustainable development.
Nigeria has experienced its own unpleasant share of food insecurity, thus, forming a fundamental objective and directive principle of the country is the Enthronement of Food Security as a means of promoting citizens' well-being. In alignment with this national aspiration, FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA is organized as a strategic civil responsibility initiative dedicated to advancing the nation's food security agenda.
The empowerment model of the FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA project forms a central pillar of the initiative. It focuses on equipping communities with the tools, skills, and resources necessary to become self-sufficient, improve their livelihoods, and sustainably address hunger. By focusing on education and access to resources, the program ensures that people are not only surviving hunger but are also empowered to overcome it in the long run. This approach fosters resilience, builds stronger communities, and leads to lasting changes that can transform Nigeria's food security landscape.
The advocacy pillar of FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA is dedicated to raising awareness, influencing policies, and mobilizing communities to take action against hunger. It focuses on educating the public about the importance of food security, advocating for supportive policies, and engaging stakeholders at all levels to create a collective effort towards ending hunger in Nigeria.
The exhibition component of FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA will serve as a framework for stakeholders to harvest numerous strategic advantages in the food and agro-allied sector. Providing opportunities for showcasing innovative products, solutions, and technologies, the exhibition will also create a much-needed platform to receive practical contributions for ongoing improvement and customization in the quest to combat hunger and ensure food security.
FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA recognizes that the fight against hunger requires a collective effort. We actively seek partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private sector entities, and community groups to amplify our impact and reach. By working together, we can create a stronger, more resilient food system that benefits everyone.
The project will adopt a structured and inclusive partnership engagement strategy designed to maximize collective impact and mutual benefit.
Identify and target potential partners across government, private sector, and civil society organizations.
Develop tailored proposals and engagement frameworks for different partner categories.
Create collaborative platforms for planning, execution and monitoring of joint initiatives.
Establish clear metrics and reporting mechanisms to track impact and ensure accountability.
Having been inspired by the Presidency, we shall continue to undertake further engagements with the Federal, States, Local Governments and other public sector organizations in mobilizing greater support for hunger relief. Such partnerships enable strong alignment with government policies, social protection programs, and food security strategies. Governmental and other public institutions are provided the opportunities to demonstrate leadership and accountability.
Engage corporate organizations as partners in reducing hunger. This is designed to create partnerships that combine financial support with measurable impact and meaningful recognition for sponsors, ensuring that partnerships reflect shared objectives and complimentary capabilities.
Partners will enjoy enhanced visibility and positive brand recognition, that will be reinforced across event branding, media coverage, advocacy campaigns and public engagements.
The partnership delivers both strategic and social benefits, enhancing partner's reputation, influence, growth and development. While strengthening their products, services and market insights, they are able to deliver on their Corporate Social Responsibility.
Partnerships are structured to account for the various partners' respective interests across the following categories:
The highest level of engagement. Strategic leaders receiving topmost-tier brand visibility across all program events and activities. This tier provides premium benefits to the partners.
A distinguished level of participation with top-tier engagement and visibility across most key events and activities. Meaningful opportunities for partners to gain insights and attract high impact benefits.
Measurable engagement and visibility across selected events and activities. Well suited for organizations seeking involvement and visibility within specific segments of the program.
An accessible entry point for public and private organizations. Provides a valuable platform for visibility and lead generation aligned with the National Aspiration on Food Security.
Together we can fight hunger and win!!! FIGHT HUNGER NIGERIA is not just another "holding talks"; it is a movement, empowering futures and building a stronger Nigeria. It is a commitment to changing the narrative of hunger in our nation by giving practical solutions to the problems of hunger and promoting communities to feed themselves, leveraging the program's focus areas.
